Led by Alex, owner of Juniper Nutrition and a nutritionist specializing in genetic nutrition, and Natalie, owner of Project Arete and expert strength coach, you’ll learn how to take a more informed, personalized approach that works for your body.


This is about understanding your body in a way that leads to real “aha” moments - and knowing what to do next.
Before the workshop, you’ll complete a short intake form and a 7-day body awareness journal so we can start identifying patterns related to your energy, digestion, stress, recovery, and metabolism.
The workshop will be broken into two parts (with breaks for yummy treats and specialty teas, and connection):
— In Part 1, we’ll dive into the connection between gut health, hormones, stress, and metabolic health - creating awareness of what may be happening in your body. You’ll also complete a guided self-assessment to help connect what you’re learning to your own experience.
— In Part 2, we’ll build on the insights from your journal and introduce the Metabolic Response Framework, helping you understand how your internal environment, nutrition, and training all work together - so you can take a more informed, personalized approach to supporting your body and start to see more consistent results.
This is an in-person workshop hosted at Project Arete Gym (116 Gourlay Ln, Ottawa, ON K0A 1L0).
Sessions will take place on Saturday 13 from 9:00 AM –1:00 PM.
Weather permitting, the workshop will be held in a beautiful setting, with a light brunch and specialty teas - each selected for their unique health benefits - so you can relax, connect, and fully enjoy the experience.
You’ll walk away with a clear understanding of how your gut, metabolism, and overall body systems are connected - and how that’s influencing how you feel day to day.
Through guided exercises and your pre-workshop journal, you’ll start connecting the dots between your energy, digestion, stress, and results - leading to those moments where things finally start to make sense.
You’ll also receive a workbook with a self-assessment and take-home exercises to help you continue building awareness and identifying your own patterns.
During the second half of the session, we'll introduce the Metabolic Response Framework - so you can take a more informed, personalized approach to supporting your body and start to see more consistent results.
